Those are the frames of seconds; the poetics ..... that we capture through my daily life
On this land something worth living for, those who die searching for a cause, forget to live for it. I came from where is no hope, but if I seek light, then a prophet of the light I should be. My home is burning with sins, but how long often the sinners calls for a messenger (in need) that reflects the light they once knew and seek their redemption. It has been always the celebration of warmth that mankind seek next to its fatal dooming fire, and as in the winding of the heavenly bodies and sacrificing the innocent we seek god’s presence.
Egypt is what I have not discovered within me, but it is the broken heart of the loved ones that you can't forget. Dispatching myself from what all I have been to the others is an exile that only we share with criminals and the dead. I look to the eyes of those in my presence, none of them can flame the light that I seek. My new home to me is nothing but a shell to dwell for the night, but the silent in my sleep that what I seek. The streets of my hell warms my vessels but in my new heaven, I am nothing but a limbo. In stones, I live no more but in friends, as a refugee I must seek an asylum. I created a friend within myself in which to whom I only speak of my solitude fears and bravery dreams. Later to know that this being was not a friend at all, but a shadow that reflects my conscious and feed my ego with what I (seek) recall from the past and hope to achieve in the memory of my future.
Life taught me to speak and I became a siren. The power of the loud voice is appealing but in silence, I found power. The evolution drove us from animals to men but we seek more ourselves in primitive behaviors. I stand holding my ego in the face of everyone they said, but little they know that my humbleness descend forcefully in front of super ideas. But what makes an idea so super?! I often ask myself. Great ideas hold firmly in arguments as I believe, but super ideas holds no arguments. Super ideas ascend to be facts wither yet proven or not. It is the wonder of creation and perhaps a creator by itself. Unique it might be not, but conditional it must. Simple it looks but holds a complexity that fools the beholder. “Silence” is such an idea, holds no word but it is enigma and mysterious overcome any words; created by nothing but itself and live to be a question and an answer. Water in its simple nature like, but also a secret to life.
I am used to arguments by forced nature, but in those, I kept my silence I won. It is either to learn something or to prove a point! Two ears to listen and to eyes to observe, yet a tongue in its rest might be more powerful. There is no use of winning if it is not in the cause of reaching the divine mind and throwing out this ephemeral nature.
The pleasure and please of life taste worth only when it is missed and through this a reality would hit in pain. I found myself reminded of the good that I once had and the pleasure that i once rejected through the solidarity of agony and the execution of pain. My emphermal body had to be reminded that is to be what it had been before. From stardust we was and to the wind we will be thrown away but in between we find the magnificent creation of complexity and arrogance that neither have the rooted memory of its origin or the dream of its future. But i say let the pain be my guidance and through it i shall be reminded by my truth. And let the healed scars be a remedy for my arrogance and a mark of mortality that I bear. And my knowledge of pain is a decanted message that as a prophet of light i shall share and heal to the willing
In art, there is a million ways to draw a smile but the most beautiful one is that the one you can carve on someone face. Silent as it is, easy as it looks, humble as it maybe but unfolds an elegance that charms the beyond the scene. Those have the power to light that flame of within themselves and swipe the shade of the others are fallen angles. Between the bending of two lips falls all the meaning of love and power that unite the spirits and strip the victorious from his victory. This visage lifts my soul and part me with strangers as if we have been one before. I wonder if the spirits falls and swim away from the bodies to seek that forbidden pleasure that was stripped away from the paling corps.
Strip from the greed that consume yourself and you shall find the sweetness of the biter life. I have seeked my pleaser in the banded and I find life on the other side. It started in Ramadan when you seek water and earthly pleasure the most and from the fasting I have found myself and my purpose.. I am that mortal that seek divine in his dream and as angels we can’t be
I would like to stop first on the definition of the word "religion" in the three Abrahamic believes which they unfolds the same idea of god and afterlife more or less! Thus, these societies interpret similar concepts that is justified by their common theodicy including the vision of being the "one" righteous and true.
On the other hand eastern believes such as Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism ... etc are based on different terms… you might call them ideologies or philosophies that is shaped an understood in a different way than in the Abrahamic faith. Here language plays a very tricky part, and shade all these practices under the umbrella of one word, but truly they are not. In these believes the narratives are not so rigid and fixed and the idea of good and evil could be based on fortune telling or change of events ... take yin & yang for example both are opposite and both are necessary. What define yin from yang various according to multiple variables. Believes like in old Egyptians in gods were linked to the pharaohs and was common for myths to evolve with every new pharaoh. Gods in Greek’s and Roman’s mythologies contradicted with each other, nevertheless they we capricious and moody that they contradicted with themselves. Piety to gods were a paradox by itself, but people shared the common narrative of afterlife. Nowadays Hinduism is almost the same but within itself, there is various degrees of belief and comment...To summarize this all, I see all the Mythologies can be scaled into a spectrum from atheism to deism and each point on that spectrum viewed differently by its followers! We can barely judge what falls within our scoop... But what is important to me is that how different our ideas and backgrounds may be, we still share a common human quality which is “faith”! Even those commit solely to science and facts have their share of believe of unproven theories that brings up this quality within them.
Finally, to answer your question religion is an idea carried by people and each person can have a different answer to your question. We have amount of “Faith” and “doubt” in our ideas and each one is unique!!!
Reading the stories of the constellations is my utter pleasure. I caught this photo few nights before that captures the chronic love and animosity of “Orion” the giant hunter.
Near the center, three bright stars which believed to have a correlation the geo position of the Egyptian pyramids. Those stars with their Arabic Names (Alnitak النطاق, Alnilam النيلم and Mintaka المنطقة) form the "Belt of Orion حزام الجبار” and around them you can trace the hands and feet of “Orion”. In his life he was captured by the beauty of Atlas's daughters and kept pursuing them with unrequited love until they flee away from him by turning to the stars of the “Pleiades الثوريا”. Way after in his mythology the mighty hunter fought his greatest battle to eventually die by the poison of the “Scorpio العقرب”.
Those stories periodically repeated over the sheets of the night sky. During winter nights you can still see “Orion” middling the sky, chasing the “Pleiades الثوريا”( on the right next to the moon) in odyssey of failed love. And in the late summer, Scorpio takes his position proofing the everlasting battle and triumph
Break of light
No matter how long i keep looking into the night sky meditating and knowing that i am its child by all sense born from its dust! My head keeps on spinning and chanting the words of potelmy:
"I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia"
